Herald Lab is a professional surname-history and heraldic-document studio. The honest rule we put on every document: a coat of arms is not an entitlement of everyone who shares a surname. We present historical associations found in heraldic sources — commemorative research, not a grant of arms, noble title, or legal right.
A research studio, not a crest factory
Herald Lab (Adv Webbing) has worked with last-name origin and heraldic references since 1993. Behind every paid custom order is a person — not a random crest generator — who compares spelling variants, reads onomastic and heraldic sources, and typesets a commemorative document. That is why delivery is measured in hours, not seconds.
We do not sell an “official family coat of arms” that every bearer of a spelling is entitled to use. We do not produce living genealogy of your relatives. Our craft is surname origin, historical development, and associated heraldic imagery as recorded in our sources.

When records exist, we present arms historically recorded for some families of the name, or arms commonly associated with the surname. If none can be documented, we say so and may supply a clearly labeled decorative reconstruction when the pack includes artwork. Documents do not grant legal rights, noble titles, or exclusive ownership of any arms.
